For the moment anyway. I wore a lightweight jacket to work this morning - I walked in, way back at 8:40 am when it was a mere forty-eight degrees. It's at about seventy or so right now, and per usual, feels much, much hotter.
It looks like it's a one and done though, as the temperatures are supposed to get back into the 50's and 60's the rest of the week and into the weekend.
But hey, I'm not always a pessimist - I'm glad we got one nice day this year.
Lindsay and Nathan were hanging out on the terrace taking in some sun.

Sightings
I know it's nice out, but nice enough to bare it all (except for shorts) and get a tan? Not for this guy. I'll have my "baseball tan" going on until the season is over - yeah, that tan. The hard line that the sun draws on my arms about 2" above my elbow - that's my tan line. From that line on to my fingertips is tan, as is my neck and face. As for the rest, well, I am a white guy.
There's two guys about two feet from one another on the patio deck on the first floor of our building with their shorts tucked neatly into their crotches - because you never know who's gonna see your inner thigh - gotta make sure it's tan.
Vanity is at an all-time high today.
Red Cat
Lindsay and I are having what might possibly be our last supper out before Baby D gets here. We're headed downtown to Red Cat for a nice dinner together. Nathan walked around for a good hour today when Linds came to meet me around lunch time, so he should pass right out. He's asleep on the tiles in the kitchen as I type, I think because the tiles are cooler than the sun.
Smart dog he is.
Florence & the Machine is playing on the Bose deck, and we're just relaxing until whenever we decide to get motivated enough to get ready for dinner. 6:45 reservation so we'll be home reasonably early. I will try to snap some photos while we're down there to share with everyone. Down in Chelsea is a pretty neat area, lots of trendy shit going on that I a totally clueless about.
